1. Course Access & User Agreement
1:1 Access Upon Payment
Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the Online Course. This access is designed to allow you to engage with the Course content at your own pace and convenience.
1.2 Duration of Access
Please be aware that the duration of your access may vary depending on the specific Course you have purchased, as indicated during the purchase process. "Lifetime access' to our online courses refers to the duration of time of which The Health Puzzle continues to operate and provide these services. While we have intentions of operating and trading for many years to come as a new business we cannot make any guarantees. It is recommended that you take notes and download all downloadable documents while you undertake the course.
1.3 UK Participants Only
The services and courses provided by The Health Puzzle, including any nutritional advice or health-related information, are intended for individuals residing within the United Kingdom. Our practitioners are insured and legally permitted to offer services only within this jurisdiction. If you access or purchase our courses or services from outside the UK, you do so at your own risk. The Health Puzzle assumes no responsibility or liability for any actions, outcomes, or consequences resulting from the use of our services by individuals outside the UK, as we are unable to guarantee compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of other countries.
1.4 Welcome Pack
UK residents may be eligible for a 'Welcome Pack' as indicated during the purchase process. Upon successful payment you will receive an email from [email protected] asking for your UK address. Your 'Welcome Pack' will be dispatched within 2-7 days, unless otherwise stated.
1.5 No Unauthorised Sharing
You shall not share, distribute, or provide unauthorised access to the Course materials or any part thereof. Unless otherwise stated your access is personal and non-transferable, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. If you have been found to have violated these terms and conditions you will lose access to your account.
1.6 Accurate Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information when interacting with the Course hosting platform, including during registration, profile setup and surveys.
1.7 Course Maintenance and Technical Issues
While we strive to maintain continuous and uninterrupted access to all Course materials, there may be instances when the platform is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise such disruptions and provide advance notice whenever possible.
1.8 Course Updates
We may periodically update or revise Course materials to ensure that they remain up-to-date and relevant. These updates could include changes to content, resources, and other aspects of the Course. We will endeavour to notify you of significant updates that might impact your learning experience.
1.9 Communication of Changes
We will strive to communicate with you about changes to the Course content, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy in a clear and accessible manner. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information up-to-date and stay informed about any updates by checking the Course platform and your communication channels regularly.
1.10 Lawful Use
You are required to use the Course materials for lawful and ethical purposes only. You shall not use the Courses for any illegal activities or engage in any conduct that violates applicable laws and regulations.
1.11 Respect for Others
You must treat all fellow participants, instructors, and Course administrators with respect and courtesy. Any form of harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or offensive behaviour is strictly prohibited.
1.12 Prohibited Content
You shall not post or share content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. This includes refraining from sharing content that could disrupt the learning experience of others. This also includes the sharing of content that could 1) cause the loss of sales, 2) damage ‘The Health Puzzle’ brand image and 3) damage the reputation of any individual or brand associated with ‘The Health Puzzle’.
1.13 No Unauthorised Commercial Activity
You shall not use the Course platform for any commercial purposes, including advertising, solicitation, or promoting products or services, without the explicit permission of ‘The Health Puzzle’.
1.14 No Data Manipulation
You shall not engage in any activity that disrupts or manipulates the functioning of the Course platform, including attempting to alter or delete Course content, tampering with quizzes, surveys, or engaging in any form of hacking or unauthorised access.
1.15 Modifications of Terms & Conditions
We may make updates or modifications to these Terms and Conditions from time to time. These updates may reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or the evolving nature of our Courses. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant changes to the Terms and Conditions. Notices may be provided through the Course platform, email, or other communication channels we have on record. We encourage you to review any changes to the Terms and Conditions carefully. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you have the option to discontinue using The Health Puzzle's products and services. Changes to the Terms and Conditions will not have retroactive application. They will apply only to future interactions with the Courses.
1.16 Breach of Terms
If you violate any of the provisions outlined in these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to terminate your access without prior notice or refund. This includes violations of the "Intellectual Property," "User Conduct," and other sections of these Terms.
1.17 Reporting Misconduct
If you become aware of any user misconduct or violations of these guidelines, please report them to [email protected].

1.19 Pre-Launch Course
If you are purchasing one of our online courses at a discounted pre-launch price you will receive access to the full course once it becomes available. When you enrol onto the course you are do so with the understanding that not all of the content is available immediately and there may also be temporary errors or issues with the course (e.g. spelling errors or the contents page may have changed and has not yet been updated).
2. Limitation of Liability
2.1 No Guarantee of Outcomes
While our Courses are designed to provide valuable knowledge and skills, we do not guarantee any specific outcomes, results, or achievements based solely on completion of the Course. The application of the acquired knowledge and skills may vary based on individual effort, experience, and other external factors (including but not limited to: genetics, existing health conditions, medications, and individual responses to dietary changes). It is important to recognise that what works for one person may not work the same way for another.
2.2 Educational Nature
Our Courses are designed to offer educational content, guidance, and knowledge in a particular subject area. The information provided in our Courses is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2.3 Your Responsibility to Speak to Your Primary Healthcare Provider (e.g. GP/Specialist)
Our Courses, as well as all other content provided by The Health Puzzle (and those associated with The Health Puzzle), are not suitable for everyone to engage with. This includes but is not limited to those with certain medical conditions and those taking certain medications, supplements and/or other health supportive aids. Before making any significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or lifestyle based on the information provided in this Course, it is strongly recommended that you consult with a qualified healthcare professional. It is your responsibility to check with your primary healthcare provider (e.g. GP or specialist) that it is safe for you to enrol. It is also your responsibility to speak to your primary healthcare provider if any new symptoms arise while undertaking this Course. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions through the enrolment onto this Course you are agreeing to the above.
2.4 Discovery Call
Before enrolling on this Course, you are eligible for a free 15-minute discovery call. You may ask questions about the Course and get guidance to see if the Course is right for you. While every effort will go into understanding your situation, we cannot guarantee that the Course will be right for you. You must share with us any medical conditions you have or have previously experienced; and any medications, supplements or health supportive aids you are currently or have previously taken. While our Course host can guide you, it is legally only your primary health care provider that can give you a definitive answer.
2.5 Over 18 Years Old
You must be over 18 years old to enrol on this Course.
2.6 Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your participation in our Courses, your use of the Course content, or any related activities.
2.7 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions, your use of the Course content, or your interaction with the Course platform.
2.8 Third-Party Services
When our Courses involve the use of third-party platforms, tools, or resources, we are not responsible for any issues or damages caused by those third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their terms and policies.
2.9 No Warranty
We provide our Courses "as is" and "as available." We do not make any warranties, either express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the Course content for any specific purpose. We disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
2.10 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, labour disputes, or technical failures.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligibility for Refunds
3.1.1 Full Refunds
You will be eligible for a full refund (UK residents see below*) when you request a refund ‘within’ 7 days from your Course purchase date.
*UK Residents Only - To receive your full refund you will need to return your ‘Welcome Pack’ sent to you by post. A full refund will be issued when your ‘Welcome Pack’ has been returned in a resalable condition. The cost of the return postage is the responsibility of the customer. £10 will be deducted from the total refund amount if you are unable to return the ‘Welcome Pack’. Alternatively, customers can choose to keep the 'Welcome Pack' and pay the £10 charge.
3.1.2 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds will be offered when a refund has been requested after the first 7 days up until 30 days from the date the Course was purchased. The percentage of the total purchase price will vary depending on the percentage of the Course that has been completed (see table below for details).

Refunds will only be issued once the initial purchase funds have been received and the original purchase has been verified.
3.2 Exclusions
Refunds may not be provided in certain situations, including but not limited to:
- If you have accessed more than 50% of the Course materials or completed more than 50% of the Course.
- If you violate our Terms and Conditions and/or Privacy Policy.
- If the refund request is made after the specified 30-day refund period has expired.
Refund requests related to technical issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Participants are encouraged to contact us for assistance before requesting a refund for technical reasons.
3.3 Refund Process
To request a refund, customers must contact our customer support team at [email protected] with the subject line ‘Course Refund Request’.
The refund request must include the customer's full name, email address, and a detailed explanation of why they are requesting a refund.
Upon receipt of a refund request, The Health Puzzle will assess the customer's eligibility based on the criteria mentioned above. Refunds will be approved at the sole discretion of The Health Puzzle (this does not affect your consumer rights).
If the refund request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email and the refund/partial refund will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method.
Access to the Course materials will be revoked upon the approval and processing of the refund.
3.4 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to refunds will be resolved through negotiation and mediation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be taken to legal proceedings. This refund policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
4. Course Content
4.1 Content Accuracy and Relevance
We strive to ensure that all of our Course content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the educational objectives of the Course. Our educators and content creators work diligently to provide you with up-to-date and insightful materials.
4.2 Subject to Change
Despite our efforts, educational content can sometimes require updates due to advancements in the field, changes in industry standards, or other factors. We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace Course content to maintain its accuracy and relevance. In cases where significant changes are made to the Course content, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
4.3 External Resources
The Course content might occasionally reference or include links to external resources, websites, or materials. These references are intended to enhance your learning experience and provide supplementary information. We do not endorse or control the content of external resources and are not responsible for their accuracy or availability.
4.4 Technical Requirements
Some Course content, such as videos or interactive elements, may have specific technical requirements for optimal viewing or participation. Please ensure that you have the necessary hardware and software to access and engage with the Course content effectively.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Intellectual Property
The intellectual property associated with the Online Courses, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, videos, audio, and any downloadable resources, is protected by various intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights. These materials are the valuable and exclusive property of ‘The Health Puzzle’, or in some cases, third-party content providers who have granted us the necessary rights.
5.2 Limited License
Upon purchasing one of ‘The Health Puzzle’s’ Online Courses, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Course materials for your personal and non-commercial purposes. This license does not grant you ownership of the Course materials, and you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or perform any of the Course materials without our explicit prior written consent. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to purchase a license for your company/charity.
5.3 User Generated Content
If the Online Course allows for user-generated content, such as discussions, comments, or activities, you retain ownership of the content you create.
5.4 Reporting Infringement
If you believe that any Course materials infringe upon your intellectual property rights or if you notice any misuse of the Course materials, please notify us promptly at [email protected] so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Third Party Terms & Conditions
6.1 Thinkific Terms and Conditions
Our Online Courses are hosted by the third-party platform Thinkific, please see the following link (https://www.thinkific.com/terms-of-service/) for the additional Terms and Conditions as set out by Thinkific. You shall adhere to the terms, policies, and guidelines of Thinkific in addition to the terms outlined in this agreement.
6.2 Stripe Terms and Conditions
Payments for our Online Courses are through Stripe, please see the following link (https://stripe.com/gb/legal/ssa) for the additional Terms and Conditions as set out by Stripe. You shall adhere to the terms, policies, and guidelines of Stripe in addition to the terms outlined in this agreement.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
7.1 Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions, along with any disputes or claims arising from them, are governed by the laws England.
7.2 Jurisdiction
Any legal actions, proceedings, or disputes related to these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England. This means that any legal matters will be addressed within the legal framework of England.
7.3 Venue
The designated jurisdiction also serves as the venue for any legal proceedings that may arise from the interpretation, enforcement, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
7.4 Conflict of Laws
The choice of jurisdiction and applicable law is intended to provide clarity and predictability in case of legal disputes. In some cases, the choice of law may supersede any conflicting principles or laws of other jurisdictions.
7.5 Consent to Jurisdiction
By using the Online Courses provided by The Health Puzzle, you consent to the jurisdiction and laws specified in this section for any legal matters that may arise.
7.6. Enforceability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable under the laws of England, the remaining provisions of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.
